Manual Registration Tab 3: Requests

Requests is the third tab of information on the registration record. Requests are activities, appointments, and accommodations for which the event registrants may optionally ask (e.g. classroom visits, overnight accommodations, etc.)

To add a request to the registration:
  1. Click the Add button to open the Request form.

  2. If the request is confirmed, leave the Confirmed checkbox checked. Otherwise, uncheck the box.

  3. From the drop-down list, choose the Request Type.

  4. From the drop-down list, choose the desired Request.

  5. Select or enter the Host for the request.

    1. Click on the Host Lookup.

    2. If necessary, use the search function to limit the list of hosts.

    3. Locate the name of the host in the list view.

    4. If the host name is not listed, click Add Host to open the Person Management form so that you can add a new host record to the database. After the new record is added, it will appear in the host list view.

    1. Click the row selector on the left end of the row.

    2. Click Select. (Or you may double-click the row to select.)

  1. The location associated with the selected host will appear in the Location field. If desired, you may overwrite the default location by typing in a new one.

  2. If the request will take place on a specific date, click the drop-down beside Date to select a date from the calendar. You must select a date that falls within the Event dates.

  3. The room number associated with the selected host will appear in the Room field. If desired, you may overwrite the default room number by typing in a new one.

  4. If the request will take place at a specific time, enter the start time of the request for Time.

  5. For Notes, enter any additional information about the request. The notes will be included in the confirmation e-mail sent to the host.

  6. Click Save to save the request and return to the registration.

To edit a request:
  1. On the Requests tab, click the row selector to the left end of the request you wish to edit.

  2. Click the Edit button to open the request in a new window.

  3. Make any changes desired to the request.

  4. Click Save.

To delete a request:
  1. On the Requests tab, click the row selector to the left end of the request you wish to delete.

  2. Click the Delete button to open the request in a new window.

  3. Click Delete to confirm the deletion.

To continue creating the registration record:

After adding all desired requests, click the Next button to move to the next tab and continue selecting Registration options

Navigating the form:
  • Previous - moves to the previous tab of information on the registration form.

  • Cancel - exits the registration record without saving changes.

  • Save - saves changes to the registration record and returns to the list of registrations. The record cannot be saved unless all required fields are filled.

  • Save/Add - saves changes to the registration record and returns to the registration calendar, so that an event may be selected for another new registration record. The record cannot be saved unless all required fields are filled.

  • Next - moves to the next tab of information on the registration form.
