Planning an Event

Before creating an event, you should give thought to all of the event details and logistics. You should complete the following setup steps or have an administrator complete them:

  1. Evaluate the Event Types available. These values are updated by 422 Group Support and should match Activity Values within CRM for proper integration.
  2. Create the Event Location, if necessary, from the Domain Values menu.
  3. Create Sessions, if necessary, from the Events menu.
  4. Create Requests, if necessary, from the Events menu.
  5. Create Message Types, if necessary, from the Domain Values menu.
  6. Create the following types of Messages, if necessary, from the Administration menu.
    • Thanks Page Message
    • Thanks Email Message
    • Confirmation Email Message
    • Capacity Message
    • Registration Card Message
    • Request Message
    • Host Confirmation Email Message
