Event Capacity Handling

When setting the event capacity on the Event Follow Up tab, there are three capacity numbers available to use (constituents, guests, total). These three do NOT need to total.

  • Capacity is the number of constituents that will be accepted before the event is deemed full.  If constituent capacity is reached, the capacity message appears on the Event Details page indicating registration is closed.

  • Guest Capacity is the allowed number of other individuals who are accompanying the registrant to the event (e.g.a parent, friend, spouse, etc.). If guest capacity is reached, the capacity message appears on the Event Details page indicating registration is closed.

  • Total Capacity is the total allowed number of registrants (either constituents or guests) the event can accommodate. If the number of constituent registrations plus the number of guest registrations is equal to or more than the Total Capacity, the capacity message appears on the Event Details page indicating registration is closed.

Note:If any of the capacity numbers are set to 0, Event Registration Manager will treat the event as full.
