Email Advanced Options

Reply To

The Advanced area in Mailing or the Mailing Definition allows users to indicate a Reply To email address that is different from the Sender. For example, you can send your email message from admissions@yourschool.edu within the General area, but you can indicate the Reply To address as specificstaffmember@yourschool.edu by populating the 'Reply to' field within the Advanced area. Responses to emails will come back to the Reply To email address. If no email address is entered in the 'Reply to' field, responses will go to the sender email address.

Send from Owner

Selecting the 'Send from Owner' option will merge the Person record Owner into the sender email and sender name fields. Do NOT select this option if your institution utilizes Staff Assignments to associate staff members with the Opportunity record.
